Dara McCreary is a Scientific Business Analyst at Sapio Sciences. In his previous role as a product manager at GeneFirst, he collaborated with subject matter experts to explore the potential of their new Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) products.
Earlier in his career, he served as a research associate at the University College London Institute of Child Health. During this time, he contributed significantly to diagnosing patients at Great Ormond Street Hospital and beyond, specializing in rare genetic Neuroinflammation diseases. He also developed workflows for rapid turnaround targeted NGS panels for patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with potential autoimmune diseases.
He holds a PhD in medical science from the University College London, where he gained valuable experience in proteomics and stem cell biology.
