Mike Hampton is the Chief Commercial Officer at Sapio Sciences, where he leads global commercial strategy and operations, including marketing, solution consulting, customer success and sales. He brings over two decades of international experience in life sciences, spanning commercial leadership, digital business transformation, and customer success.

Mike’s focus is on accelerating growth by developing strong partnerships with pharma and biotech and strengthening Sapio’s position as the industry leader in AI-native lab informatics. His career includes senior leadership roles at IDBS, a Danaher company, where he successfully scaled commercial teams and helped lead IDBS’s acquisition in 2017. Most recently, he served as Chief Revenue Officer and President of Field Operations at Causaly, where he partnered with top biopharma organizations with AI-powered solutions to empower scientists in achieving breakthrough discoveries. With deep expertise in R&D digital transformation, customer relationship development, and value-based engagements, Mike is passionate about helping customers accelerate the entire drug development lifecycle.

As Chief Growth Officer for Strategic Partnerships, Andrew Wyatt is responsible for growing Sapio’s international operations. He has over 30 years of expertise in commercially scaling global software companies. Andrew has worked in a wide range of organizations, from NASDAQ listed companies to privately held businesses, from the Communications sector to Life Sciences industry. Most recently Andrew was the COO of Lumeon, the leaders in healthcare orchestration where he successfully grew the business and entered the US market. With his deep understanding of the Life Sciences industry and proven ability to navigate the complexities of scaling operations, Andrew has consistently built organizations that delight customers while maximizing shareholder value.

Gordon McCall is an accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) known for his ability to drive financial success and foster business growth. With a strong finance and accounting background, Gordon’s extensive experience positions him as a valuable asset in his role.

Having served as CFO for multiple organizations, Gordon has consistently scaled businesses and delivered exceptional results. His passion for supporting private equity-backed companies has honed his expertise in financial management, forecasting, fundraising, and mergers and acquisitions.

Gordon’s strategic mindset and hands-on approach provide valuable insights and guide informed decision-making in alignment with organizational goals. His ability to identify growth opportunities and see the bigger picture has been instrumental in driving sustainable success.

With a first-class degree in Finance and Accounting from Glasgow University and qualifications as a Chartered Accountant, Gordon’s academic background complements his practical experience, reflecting his commitment to professional excellence.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Gordon values creating positive company cultures that foster collaboration and development. He prioritizes integrity and is passionate about empowering talented individuals to reach their full potential.

Outside of work, Gordon embraces his Scottish heritage and has a great sense of humor. He enjoys sports, particularly golf, which fuels his personal fulfillment.

With his leadership, strategic thinking, and financial acumen, he is committed to driving our company’s financial success and supporting our growth trajectory, while maintaining a balanced and fulfilling personal life.

Sean Blake has more than 20 years of IT leadership experience in technology operations, project management, systems implementation, and application support, with extensive expertise in regulatory compliance including 21 CFR Part 11, Sarbanes-Oxley, FISMA, FDA and US and International data privacy laws.

Having led complex projects across various companies in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, Sean has proven his capabilities in executing critical IT strategies and guiding international, cross-functional, and multi-organizational teams.

Most recently he was the Chief Information Officer at BioAgilytix, where he was responsible for strategic planning, execution, and oversight for all Information Technology department functions globally in support of short and long-term business goals and in compliance with all applicable US and international regulations.

Sean has a BS in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, and a Masters Certificate in Advanced Information Assurance and Security from Villanova University, along with certifications in Certified in Risk and Information System Control ™ (CRISC) and Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).

Rick is the Vice President of Global Marketing at Sapio Sciences, where he leads the company’s global go-to-market strategy and brand positioning. With deep expertise in B2B enterprise software, Rick has a strong track record of scaling high-growth and startup technology companies, helping them define their market presence, accelerate customer acquisition, and drive revenue growth.

Prior to joining Sapio, Rick held senior marketing leadership roles across a range of innovative software businesses, including Apertio (real-time data management), Apervita (the first marketplace for clinical decision support algorithms), and Lumeon (the first healthcare automation platform). He also led marketing for a division of Hewlett Packard and served as Head of Business Marketing at Vodafone Spain.

Rob Brown is Head of the Scientific Office at Sapio Sciences. He was previously at Dotmatics where he was Head of Global Presales, Product Marketing & Product Management. Earlier in his career he ran product marketing teams at Accelrys, SciTegic and MSI. Rob started his career as a postdoc and later research scientist at Abbott Laboratories (now Abbvie). He received his PhD in Cheminformatics from the University of Sheffield, UK.

Ricky Patel is a forward-thinking, customer-focused software delivery leader based in London, UK. With a proven track record of building lean, agile, and high-performing teams, Ricky aligns strategic visions with precise tactical execution, consistently driving optimal business outcomes.

Equipped with a comprehensive skill set spanning Program and Software delivery, Agile methodologies, Compliance, Security, Cloud Computing, and more, Ricky’s professional journey is marked by transformative accomplishments and remarkable leadership.

Currently serving as the VP of Customer Success – EMEA at Sapio Sciences, Ricky operates at the forefront of scientific innovation. He is a vital contributor to the senior leadership team, guiding a diverse range of functions, including Program Management, Business Analysis, Solution Architecture, and Application Engineering. Ricky’s strategic oversight ensures that customers harness the full potential of the Sapio Sciences platform, leading to groundbreaking advancements and streamlined scientific processes.

In his role prior to Sapio Sciences, Ricky led the software development and global delivery of a transformative Care Orchestration platform. This innovative solution optimized hospital workflows, enhanced patient care, and scaled best practices across diverse healthcare environments.

Armed with a BSc in Computer Science and certifications in Scrum and advanced-level quality management, Ricky Patel is a dynamic professional poised to drive innovation and create enduring value in any technological landscape.

Fran Carmody serves as Head of Customer Delivery at Sapio Sciences, where he leads the execution of customer implementations, onboarding, and support services. With over 20 years of experience at the intersection of science and technology, Fran plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless, high-quality customer experiences that drive measurable outcomes for Sapio’s clients.

Throughout his career, Fran has focused on helping life sciences organizations harness technology to accelerate innovation. Prior to joining Sapio, Fran held senior leadership positions at IDBS, where he served as Head of Global Professional Services and Services Enablement Manager. There, he worked closely with R&D, IT, and business leaders to deliver scalable, AI-driven digital lab solutions, while building high-performing services teams across global markets.

Fran’s expertise spans scientific informatics, SaaS solutions, and GxP environments, with a proven track record in project management, process optimization, and customer success. At Sapio Sciences, he is focused on optimizing service delivery frameworks and scaling operations to meet growing demand across biopharma R&D, clinical diagnostics, and manufacturing.
